If you get a chance to write to yourself when you were 12 years old now, what would you write?
-warning : a super duper long letter!-
Dear 12-years-old Wai Chi,
Hi, I'm YOU, 9 years later. Which means, I'm already 21-years-old Wai Chi! Hope that I didn't frighten you of when you see this letter. And, I think you should be shouting "Mi, me write letter to myself!" in excitement or rather, you don't understand this letter at all..you blurr girl. xD
Although you may have some bad childhood memories but don't worry, because the Person you have put your trust in will set you free. Remember you have accepted Jesus as your Saviour in the age of 10?? I really hope that you will try your best to understand why you have made that decision during that time because I couldn't remember it. Yeah, you are really in love with Him..so much that you jotted down your praises into a little mini book. But, as time passed, that feeling gone..However, what you have written in that book made me reflected back & wonder.. Yes, I've found that once again! Thanks!
You really hardworking in your studies right now and here I'll reveal to you that you will get 5As for your coming UPSR. However, when you in form 2, you are getting lazy and your results actually drops. So, in order to make you study, I will not be telling you what is your PMR results. If you ever get good results, be thankful ya. Oh ya, your first choice to get in to Bukit Bintang Girl school is rejected(don't know how they choose. unfair!), and because your first choice have been rejected, the people don't even look at your second choice in going into . So, you'll end up in SMK(P) Pudu aka PESS. If you haven't fill in that application form yet, please put your second choice - - Sek. Aminuddin Baki as your first choice. You'll definitely can enter. Anyhow, I do hope you'll just let it be because you'll met your very own special circle of friends in PESS school. You'll learnt a lot from there too. Although you'll hate this school in the beginning, but you'll love it soon when you get to adapt into the school environment..
How pity, you'll be the ketua papan kenyataan for 4 out of 5 years during your secondary school. The only time you managed to escape is during form 2. There's be a lot of board decorating competitions especially around exam times that will drives you crazy. And also, poster drawing competitions. When you are lucky, you will get a certificate as remembrance. If not, you will get a file with a pen or colour papers only which is kinda useless. Sweat right? What else? Oh ya, you will join St. John but you'll stop joining it during form three. Your reasons will be you don't want to go for marching practices (which will turned you into a dark chicken) and comon' you are afraid of blood. I wonder why you joined it in the first place. Anyway, the two years of joining St John really will benefit you a lot. At least you know how to perform CPR and bandaging, which I can't really remember by now. Haha..
You'll meet a friend for a life time during your form 1, a cute girl named Wai Han. She'll became your godsis. Both of you like to play boats beside the class, at the drain during the rain. I also know you'll be trying your best to gain weight because you are too skinny. You even drink some "healthy drink" which you'll be kinda regret but, it's okie though. =P Forget your dream to grow tall, your height will be just 152cm. Don't "har??!" so loud, you'll be happy with it, trust me, which is YOU. =) You'll choose to enter art stream in the end although you are so keen in entering science stream in the first three years. Tell you, you've made the right choice! Smart...=P However, there are a lot of sweet and bitter memories in that two years being in art stream. You'll face one of the toughest situation during form 5 but again, thank God because He's with you all the time. You will seek comfort from Him because that time you'll realise that He is the only Friend that will never fails you. The best thing is, you will get to know a special person who will treat you wholeheartedly - - a faithful friend. Who? You can find out yourself. =)

Yeah, I'm here to warn you to put in extra effort in your add maths. Man~ it's like the waterfall. Better don't scare you. Haha. If you can't learn by yourself, you should take tuition during form 4. Form 5 is kinda too late for you to cope back. Aha, wanna know your SPM results? Don't worry, it's good enough for you to get a scholarship to study business in KI. God really answer your prayer and bless you. You'll be in tears of joy the moment you see your results. One thing you should pray more.. your health! You always fell sick during major exams. During your PMR and SPM. SPM is the worst. You fell sick on the day you sit for your science and moral paper. Then you can't study for the next paper on the next day which is add maths - your greatest weakness. You'll be wrapping in a blanket while you are studying because you are freezing. You can't really study. But you are blurr enough until you forget to bring your pencil case, long ruler and calculator. So, please be aware. But great news is, you'll be fine during the add math exams. You even fly all the way to ONE Utama to attend Jay Chou's meet the fans forum on that night with your Yi Zai. You arr...lolz.
Hmm, I also hope you will do some part time job whenever you got long holidays. You don't have much experience in working life..if not, go travel around the places, at least..When you reach 18 years old, you want so much to have your IC to be checked when you watch 18+ movies in the cinema, but too bad, you didn't have the chance..swt. What else, yeah..I realised that although you did waste time drawing pictures like comics and cute cartoons on A4 sized white papers or books but you didn't waste ENOUGH time for that. I wish you could have one mountain of collection of drawings~xD Lazy la you. haha..joking. I know you'll prefer to memorize and singing Jay Chou's songs through han yu pin yin. Thanks to Pui Mun who most gladly to interpret the lyrics for you. =D But please don't do that when your PMR is around the corner..Everyone, include Wai Han is holding books, but you are holding the lyrics..aiyo.
Come to college. Yupe, KI is your choice. And you will say you regret coming in. You don't even know why you are here. Your dream is to study design but it does not come true. You'll end up studying business course, which made a lot of people question you, "Why you are here? You study wrong course la..You should be in design field" for a thousand times. Again, thank God, you won't waste your knowledge here. The friends that you have made. You'll be telling them, "If I didn't study here, I won't know you right?" Everyday you'll have your neighbour, YY to accompany you to college! Also, that's how you will be leaded to study professional make-up and hairstyling course. It's during your part-time working in Leisure Mall you'll find out about this course. Seriously no joking, you won't regret taking up this course. You'll come to a point of time you'll feel so tired attending fulltime course in the morning till evening, then part time course at night, travelling by bus..You'll feel like almost want to quit studying business after studying half way. Don't give up on both of it ya! You can do it! And you did it. =D
Studying make-up really changed your life. You'll gained many experiences that changed your life. It also become part of your serving. Then, you'll discover "something" and improve a lot in your handicraft. You can even make business from it. What is that "something"? You'll be amazed when you find it out in future. I can't even believe it at times too. What a blessing. =)

Along this 9 years of life journey, you'll meet many people. Some will come into your life and settle down, some will just come in and walk away..But, both types of people definitely has made a difference and leave an impact in your life. Be it good or bad memories, be thankful..You've grow a lot and mature in many ways.
Come to your walk with God, it's like hot at one time, cold at another time..There will be a time you'll strayed away like a lost sheep without its shepherd. But don't worry, He'll find you one day and He did, because He has been searching for you. It's great that you know Him since young. It's because of Him, your life won't be ended up in a great mess as you are growing up (you'll know why). Always remember, He has been protecting you from unecessary harms or hurts. Your kick-start will be in year 2005 when you attend HUGE camp. Please go. That's when you'll be able to take that step of faith of getting baptise in about two to three weeks time after delaying for so long. Your baptism date is 25 December 2005. =) That's the moment your life is never gonna be the same again. It will be renew and refresh. You'll serve Him like never before and your reward will be great abundance of joy. You'll start off with joining the worship team as a vocalist in year 2006..
How your life is going to change after that? 2007 will be a year of drawing back closer to Him. You'll find joy in serving and in the youth ministry. Be prepare for year 2008, it's going to be a year of molding process. There's brokeness in life that hurts, a lot of losses..but because of that, your life will become much more beautiful..You'll only understand the reasons after you endures them. Never forget to join YES school and 54'c conference despite any circumstances. They will be another great instruments that changed your life. The people you'll meet from there are simply wonderful! You'll have many great memories with them. =) Sorry that I didn't write to you in detail everything that will happen to you. You need to learn to wait for many things are unexpected. Walk by faith, and not by sight. Remind yourself to be humble everytime you achieve something. It is not by your strength that you can do it but by His spirit. You are chosen because of His grace to you. Well, I guess you are too young to understand what I'm saying right now..Perhaps you should read your bible more starting from now. Haha..

You won't believe that you'll be a teacher! An occupation that you only wrote once in your "ambition" column during your primary school and never ever appear anymore in your secondary school. Yeah, you'll be teaching 4 years old kids.. at where? when? why? how? Let it be a surprise to you..Just know that God is amazing, He'll lead you according to His ways even you don't realise it. His plans will be the best for you. Let Him hold your hands ya. Don't worry about me. I'm still surviving by clinging on His promises. Meanwhile, I do hope you'll pray for yourself - - especially me, 9 years later..
